Hey hey, back again! These days we’re back in Southern California, spending some time with my family before the final leg of our adventure. It’s been a very lovely few days of sunshine and heat, with lots of kitchen-cooked meals–we missed them so!

Hello hello hello! We are here in grey-but-beautiful Oregon, taking some much-needed 4-walls time back with some very awesome friends. While we’ve both been keeping eyes on the insane political situation, it’s looking to be a very relaxing time. I expect I’ll also be updating my hot springs list in the coming days.

Hello again! For the few of you that actually regularly keep up with this blog, you’ll know that this post with somewhat deviate from my usual format… but I hope you’ll bear with me: I’m going to review some hot springs.

The tour-de-northwest continues, but now we find ourselves deep within the heart of British Columbia. The country is gorgeous, the people are incredibly nice, and we reek like homeless people (no Planet Fitnesses in this part of Canada means we haven’t showered since the last blog post… yummy)

Crater Lake, haha… awkward. Crater Lake was buried in some multiple feet of snow, as we saw on their livestreams right before we headed in. Frustrated by our recent lack of luck with the weather, we swore Crater Lake was now on our list of to-return-to-soon locations. Thankfully, Lacey’s friend Sam (and her girlfriend Danielle) lived in nearby Eagle Point!

    Mar 22nd, 2017

Hello hello, thanks for stopping in. We’ve had a lovely past few days, although almost none of them were as planned! (More on that later.) From Palm Springs we headed back into LA, stopped along Hollywood Boulevard to walk and see the stars (and dodge the endless supply of people hawking shit…), and drove through the hills to catch a great view of the Hollywood sign! We also learned–firsthand–that most of the “Hollywood Studios” are actually on the other side of the hills, in Burbank. The more you know!

Election Day is over and done, and we all know how it’s gone. After this leg of the trip, we can honestly say we’re both extremely disappointed and very, very unsurprised. We’re down here in Florida, and since we left the state of Pennsylvania we have seen maybe… 4 Clinton signs in peoples’ yards. You can’t forget the heartland! Alas, we’ve all heard enough about that for one day.
